Foodbank Centre Coordinator Role- We are Hiring!

Flintshire Foodbank are looking for a Foodbank Centre Coordinator. The position is for 12.5 hours per week, across 4 days. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating foodbank centres for Flintshire Foodbank.

Your overall responsibility will be to lead a team of volunteers to ensure that all areas of the foodbank centres for Flintshire Foodbank are run efficiently and to a high standard, in accordance with the Trussell franchise model and statutory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Foodbank Project Manager
• Trussell compliance
• Lead the foodbank centre outlets and volunteers
• Monitor and resupply the food store and supplies
• Ensure data compliance
• Communicate with referral agencies
• Refer press enquiries to the project manager
• Undertake quality assurance
• Any other duties as reasonably required

Person Specification

Experience of:

• Planning and organising people and tasks
• Leading and working as part of a team
• Handling difficult situations, including conflict and aggression

Key skills:

• Good oral communication
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Empathy and ability to work with people from disadvantaged, marginalised or socially excluded backgrounds
