"A massive 'thank you' from Flintshire Foodbank to staff at Airbus who collected over 100 Easter Eggs to donate to Flintshire Foodbank.

Clients with children find times like Easter and Christmas difficult.  An Egg brings a smile to the face of every child, and a sense of relief to a parent who doesn’t have money for basic food, let alone treats!

We really appreciate your generosity!  Thanks everyone!"

Real stories

Read real stories of lives changed by the foodbank

Melissa was our first client at the new Queensferry distribution centre. She is a single parent with two children.

" I found myself in the unfortunate situation where a number of bills all came out of my account at once - a couple of them had increased as well. I was asked if I needed some help with the weekly groceries until I got my finances back on track. It was such a weight lifted off my shoulders to be able to feed the family and have nappies for my baby. I am so grateful to Foodbank and for the help they have provided."
